The entertainment headliner at this year’s Osceola County Fair and Livestock Show has overcome much to deliver her music and message next month.

Mandy Harvey, who spent some of her years growing up in St. Cloud, has overcome losing her hearing to a nerve ailment over a decade ago at age 18 to forge a successful singing career. With the aid of visual tuners, along with an indomitable spirit, and a musical gift that has blessed the ears and hearts of millions, she has learned how to overcome her challenge, and come to realize that her musical career has become more than even she could have imagined.

Through that career she’s able to deliver a universal message we could all stand to hear: hope, dream and believe, no matter what.

Fast forward to 2017 and Season 12 of America’s Got Talent, when she earned Simon’s “Golden Buzzer” and finished in fourth place. She has also branched out into motivational speaking and released a book, entitled Sensing the Rhythm: Finding My Voice in a World Without Sound.

Three albums (Smile, After You’re Gone, All of Me) and over a million Spotify downloads later, she returns to Osceola County to headline the fair stage on Sunday, February 16 at 8 p.m., so make plans to come see Mandy and the rest of the amazing entertainment acts that are coming to the Osceola County Fair February 14-23, 2020.
