During City of Kissimmee’s budget workshop held on Friday, July 24, 2020, the Kissimmee City Commission voted to propose a millage rate of 4.6253 for the upcoming 2020-21 Fiscal Year (FY) Operating Budget, which will make it the 12th year in a row the millage rate will go unchanged. This millage rate remains in the lower 30% of all millage rates within the State.

City Manager Mike Steigerwald also presented the City Commission during the workshop with a proposed $205,059,171 million budget for consideration to support the City’s needs and long-term goals.

The first public hearing for the proposed operating budget is scheduled for Wednesday, September 9, with a second hearing scheduled for Tuesday, September 22.
