An official “uncoupling” ceremony marked the grand opening of Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS Station 75, as county officials, fire rescue personnel, and community partners gathered to celebrate the county’s newest fire station facility on Funie Steed Road near West U.S. Highway 192.
Positioned in the heart of the department’s Battalion 7 service area, Station 75 will enhance emergency response capabilities across nearby communities — including Celebration (Station 72), Four Corners (Station 71), Reunion/ChampionsGate (Station 73), and West 192.
“Station 75 is a welcome addition to our community here in District 1,” said District 1 Commissioner Peggy Choudhry. “Our fire stations are part of the heart and soul of our community and stand as constant reminders of our commitment to public safety for our residents and visitors.”
The $10.4 million, 12,290-square-foot facility will serve as the permanent home for Engine 75, which has been operating from Station 45 on Calypso Cay Way since October 4, and Rescue 75, which has been serving the community from Station 71 on Westside Boulevard since 2024.
“The opening of Station 75 is one of many ways we are continuing to enrich our public safety services here in Osceola County,” said County Manager Don Fisher. “One of the best ways we can invest in our community is through the people, equipment, and facilities that keep us safe.”
Station 75 marks the fifth Osceola County Fire Rescue & EMS construction project completed since 2023 and the third new-service station added to the department’s growing network. The facility follows the rebuild and relocation of two existing stations, with additional projects — including Station 43’s new home in Campbell City and Station 83 on North Marigold Avenue — nearing completion.
“Station 75 adds a critical link to our chain of services in this part of the county,” said Fire Chief Larry Collier. “The additional resources this station provides will allow us to more effectively serve our community by putting the best firefighters and paramedics in the right place, at the right time, to make a difference.”
County officials were joined by representatives from project partners Arnco Construction, Ardmore Roderick, and BRPH Architects during the ceremony, marking another milestone in Osceola County’s ongoing investment in public safety infrastructure.
