The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, in partnership with Florida State Probation and the St. Cloud Police Department, conducted a countywide enforcement initiative on Halloween aimed at increasing community safety and accountability among registered sexual offenders and predators.
The operation, titled “Your Trick, Our Treat,” took place on October 31, 2025, focusing on verifying the whereabouts and compliance of offenders actively residing in Osceola County. Teams from multiple agencies visited homes, reviewed registration records, and checked for any violations of state and local laws governing sexual offender registration.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, 72 probationers were contacted during the operation. Deputies and officers also carried out 50 searches and examined 33 GPS monitoring devices to ensure offenders were following restrictions.
Throughout the month of October, authorities made 37 arrests involving registered sexual offenders and predators for violations ranging from new offenses to breaches of probation and residency restrictions. All individuals arrested were booked into the Osceola County Jail.
The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office stated that these efforts are part of its ongoing commitment to protecting residents and maintaining public safety. Anyone with information related to similar incidents is encouraged to contact the Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222.
