Osceola Sheriff’s Office Case Update: On February 28, 2019, Osceola County Sheriff’s Office deputies began an investigation after receiving a report of a lewd and lascivious molestation incident against a victim under 12 years of age in an Osceola school.
The suspect was identified as Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher, who as a substitute teacher with the School District of Osceola County and was accused of committing several lewd acts on victims who were students in the classrooms he was assigned to as a substitute teacher.
Osceola County Sheriff’s Office detectives, along with the assistance of the Osceola County School District, and the Child Protective Team (CPT), conducted a complete investigation which included contacted every student, in every classrooms, of every school where Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher worked as a substitute teacher.
Through the course of the investigation, Osceola detectives discovered a total of nine female victims between the ages of 6-8 years old, that Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher molested in the following schools; Boggy Creek Elementary, Ventura Elementary and Pleasant Hill Elementary.
According the Osceola Sheriff’s Office, Fnu Syedyaseen-Asher committed his crimes by molesting these children near his desk, while going over their classwork.
