Beginning December 1, SunRail commuters and evening travelers will have more options to ride and return home with the addition of two new weekday evening trains, part of the rail service’s expanded schedule across Central Florida.
The enhanced weekday schedule includes a new southbound late-night train and a northbound mid-evening train, extending service hours for passengers who work late or plan to enjoy Central Florida’s dining, entertainment, and community events.
In addition to the new trains, SunRail will make minor timing adjustments—typically just one to two minutes—to improve reliability and ensure smooth connections throughout the system.
“These service enhancements expand SunRail’s weekday schedule to better serve both commuters and evening travelers,” officials said in the announcement. “The new late-night trains provide more options for those staying later at work or enjoying Central Florida’s nightlife, making it easier to ride, relax, and return home safely.”
Riders are encouraged to review the updated schedule in advance at www.SunRail.com to plan their trips accordingly. The new schedule officially takes effect December 1, 2025.
