DAVENPORT, Fla. — An 18-year-old man is dead and two others are recovering after a shooting early Saturday morning at a rental home in Davenport, according to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies responded to a residence in the 9200 block of Summerset Hills Drive, specifically 9205 Summerset Hills Drive, shortly after 1 a.m. on April 18 following reports of gunfire.
Investigators said a large gathering was taking place at the home, which had been rented through a short-term rental platform, when the shooting occurred. Three individuals were struck by gunfire during the incident.
Authorities confirmed that one victim, identified as an 18-year-old male, was transported to a local hospital where he later died. The two additional victims, both adult males, were also taken to the hospital and are currently listed in stable condition.
At this time, no suspects have been taken into custody. Homicide detectives believe the shooting to be an isolated incident, though the investigation remains active and ongoing.
