KISSIMMEE, Fla. — Comics, anime, film, television and pop culture will take center stage at Ruby Plaza at Kissimmee Lakefront Park when the City of Kissimmee hosts Fandom Kissimmee, a free open-air festival on Saturday, September 12, from 2 to 7 p.m.

The event will bring fandom enthusiasts of all ages together for an afternoon filled with entertainment, creativity and activities celebrating some of the characters, stories and worlds fans love.

Festivalgoers can explore exhibitions featuring comic books, anime, collectibles, games and original artwork, along with opportunities to enjoy live entertainment and shop for merchandise.

Cosplay will also be a major part of the celebration, with attendees encouraged to come dressed as a favorite character or showcase an original creation. The festival will feature cosplay competitions, fandom trivia contests and immersive photo opportunities, along with giveaways and other activities throughout the afternoon.

Local vendors and food trucks will also be on hand, giving visitors plenty of options to grab something to eat while enjoying the festival.

Whether someone is a lifelong comic, anime, film or television fan or is discovering the world of fandom for the first time, Fandom Kissimmee is designed to bring fans together for an afternoon celebrating creativity, characters and pop culture.

Fandom Kissimmee is free and open to the public Saturday, September 12, from 2 to 7 p.m. at Ruby Plaza at Kissimmee Lakefront Park.
