You heard it here first… ya gotta regatta! Get the whole family together to build your very own sea vessel to be put to the test! On Saturday, October 10th, all homemade vessels can be brought to the Chris Lyle Aquatic Center no later than 9:30am to set sail. Participants can race alone or as a team (up to three people per boat). Awards ceremony will follow the races!
Race Rules:
– All sea vessels must be made from ONLY duct tape and cardboard (disqualification may occur if additional objects are used)
– All vessels must be made at home; no onsite building.
– All sailors must have life jackets (provided at the aquatic center)
– Oars will be provided at the start of the race
