The Central Florida Animal Reserve’s (CFAR) “Big Cat Sip & Stroll: The Fall Collection” last week was a resounding success, bringing together the community for an afternoon of wine, wildlife, and charitable giving.
During the Sip & Stroll, attendees enjoyed a unique experience exploring CFAR’s facility and learning about its resident big cats. Guests participated in self-guided tours, savored curated wine tastings led by John Sidut of Vintage Vino in downtown Kissimmee, and indulged in light snacks and charcuterie. A silent auction added to the excitement, featuring exclusive items to benefit the Reserve’s operations and conservation efforts.
Dr. Simba Wiltz, CEO and Senior VP of CFAR, expressed his gratitude for the community’s support, noting, “Our fall event showcased the perfect Florida weather and gave guests a chance to connect with our big cats and our mission. We’re thrilled with the turnout and hope to see continued support as we approach Giving Tuesday.”
For those who missed the event, which was brought to the community by Experience Kissimmee, Giving Tuesday on December 3 will provide an excellent opportunity to contribute to CFAR’s efforts to care for and conserve these majestic animals. Donations help fund the Reserve’s operations, enrichment programs, and ongoing advocacy for big cat conservation. To support CFAR on Giving Tuesday, visit www.cflar.org and make a donation.
The Central Florida Animal Reserve is dedicated to the welfare of big cats and to educating the public about these incredible creatures. Through events like the Sip & Stroll and charitable initiatives, the Reserve continues its mission of fostering awareness and conservation for some of the world’s most awe-inspiring animals.
Mark your calendars for Giving Tuesday on December 3, 2024, and help make a difference for CFAR and its big cats.
