The Central Florida Expressway Authority is activating a new toll gantry at the ramp from southbound State Road 417 (Central Florida GreeneWay) to Narcoossee Road tonight, Wednesday night, October 30, at 11 p.m. Tolls will be collected by Pay by Plate or transponder only at the new toll gantry.
Motorists are reminded not to stop at the new toll gantry. The old plaza will no longer function. The coin basket will be removed and covered.
Due to weather and other unforeseen circumstances, work could be prolonged or delayed. Motorists are urged to pay attention to signs on the road and use caution in the construction area for their safety and that of the work crews.
This work is for a capacity improvements project on SR 417 from International Drive to SR 528 (Martin B. Andersen Beachline Expressway), which started in February 2021 and is expected to be completed by early 2025.
