According to the 2018 American Customer Satisfaction Index’s Restaurant Report, Chik-fil-A is favored over other restaurants like Pizza Hut, McDonald’s, Burger King, Taco Bell, Chipotle and yes, even though it’s National Fried Chicken Day, Kentucky Fried Chicken.

Fast food continues to do very well in satisfying its customers, as customer satisfaction moved upward 1.3% to an ACSI score of 80, just a point below the full-service restaurant industry. A year ago, fast food, an industry with about $200 billion
in annual sales, surpassed sit-down dining in customer satisfaction for the first time in ACSI history.

This year, full service restaurants bounced back with improvements across the board in customer experience. Nonetheless,
the leading limited-service companies (fast food) still performed at a level equal to, or far above the full-service
leaders.

Chick-fil-A continues to exhibit superior customer satisfaction, scoring 87 for the third year in a row. The
chicken specialist dominates the rankings with the highest score across both restaurant categories,
and its food quality continues to rate higher than its competition. Congratulations Chik-fil-A and we once again applaud your choice to be closed on sundays!
