The Church and Community Services Program will host its official re-opening event on Thursday from 9 am to 2 pm at 800 Office Plaza Blvd. Ste. 405 in Kissimmee. The event will showcase its mobile shower, a free service it provides to those who are experiencing homelessness and don’t have access to a shower, something most of us take for granted.
Speaking during the event will be City of Kissimmee Mayor, Olga Gonzalez, the founder of Church and Community Assistance Program.
“Our goal is to provide chronically homeless in crisis an opportunity to receive dignified treatment for those who have overcome crisis. This is about reaching to help others and rising together,” Mayor Gonzalez said.
