The city of Kissimmee says to parents who’d need child care, “No problem!’

The city’s Parks and Recreation Department is having activities and camps for for children in grades K-5 the days in February and March that school is out for Rodeo Day and Spring Break.

First, the “No School Youth Field Trip” to Kennedy Space Center is on Feb. 21. The fee of $40 per child includes the trip, transportation and and supervision from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Registration deadline is Feb. 17; any taken after that are subject to availability and will be $50. All campers must bring a packed lunch and snacks.

For Spring Break (March 13, 16-20), the city offers its Camp Discovery Spring Break Camp at Oak Street Park Community Center. The fee is $110 per child age 5 or older for all six days and includes field trips, transportation and supervision from 7-6. Again, campers should bring lunch and snacks each day.

This year’s field trips include Regal Theaters to watch Onward, , H2O Live! Waterpark and Wild Florida. Registration deadline is March 9 to avoid a $10 late fee. An information packet must be completed and on file before the first day of camp.
