For more than 25 years, St. Cloud’s Annual Community Thanksgiving has blessed the community, and it will again this year, but amid the continued pandemic it will be a meal delivery rather than a sit-down luncheon, and the city is in need of donations.

The City of St. Cloud and OUC staff members are holding employee food drives to collect items for St. Cloud Gives Back – Community Thanksgiving and community donations also are needed.

Donations of canned goods and non-perishable food items can be dropped off at the St. Cloud Civic Center on Saturday, Nov. 14, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. The Civic Center is located at 3001 17th Street.

Organizers are working with the Council on Aging, St. Cloud Police, St. Cloud Fire Rescue, and the Community Pantry to identify local families in need. Representatives from the City Council, City staff and volunteers, and OUC staff and volunteers will be delivering the food to recipients.
