A 21 -year-old motorcyclist from St. Cloud died Monday morning after striking an SUV head-on in Osceola County.
Just before 6 am Monday morning a motorcyclist from St. Cloud was driving northbound on Simpson Road while at the same time an SUV was driving southbound on Simpson Road.
The motorcyclist attempted to pass other traffic heading northbound in a no-passing zone fatally striking the SUV head-on. The motorcyclist, who was not wearing a helmet and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to an FHP report.
The driver of the SUV, also from St. Cloud, was uninjured in the crash. The fatal crash is under investigation.
