The City of St. Cloud’s Solid Waste division will hold a community meeting to show the results of a master plan study for the Transfer Station from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, November 18, in the Cypress Room at the St. Cloud Community Center, 3101 17th Street

Residents are invited to the come-and-go open house format meeting anytime during those hours to view the city’s long-range plan for the Transfer Station. The Transfer Station, located on Peghorn Way, is where garbage, recycling, vegetative debris, and construction debris come before being transferred to the landfill, recycling center, or other facilities. The city does not operate a landfill.

The Master Plan addresses future operations at the Transfer Station to minimize impacts to adjacent properties, including potential adjustments to the layout of the facility and increasing the size of the berm that buffers between the Transfer Station and Pinewood Gardens.
