Social media in Osceola County this morning, specifically in the St. Cloud area, began to share the news of a new development coming to St. Cloud called “Galeria at Canoe Creek.” That development was to be a commercial-focused, mixed-use development in St. Cloud, designed to be 200-acre a self-sufficient community that would be developed between Canoe Creek Road and run up to the back of St. Cloud Elementary School which is on Budinger Avenue.
The initial concept according to its website would include the following:
- Two hotel pads
- Two apartment complexes: One @ 300 units and One @ 250 units
- 120 townhomes
- An office building site
- A self-storage site
- Multi-tenant retail space
- Six outparcels fronting Canoe Creek Road
Positively Osceola communicated to City of St. Cloud officials today and they confirmed that the Caleria at Canoe Creek development is currently NOT moving forward. If any further updates or changes occur Positively Osceola will share those updates as soon as we receive them.
