Toho Water Authority is announcing the closure to thru traffic on W. Bass Street between Union Street and Robinson Avenue beginning today, September 16, from approximately 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.. The road closure is necessary to conduct additional repairs and restoration for a sewer rehabilitation project in the area. During this period, site preparation activities and equipment installation will take place to ready the site for the project. The road closure will then resume on Monday, September 21, at approximately 9 a.m. to conduct the rehabilitation project.

The project is being carried out by Garney Construction and is expected to be completed and the road reopened by Friday, September 25. Schedules could vary according to weather and other unforeseen circumstances.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to use caution when approaching these areas, as workers will be present and speed limits may be reduced and sidewalks possibly closed and diverted.
