Cody Workman, Campus Monitor at St. Cloud High, has been named as the 2022 School-Related Employee of the Year for the Osceola School District in recognition of his outstanding performance ensuring the safety and security of over 1,000 students every day, as well as the positive difference he continues to make across the campus. He is an integral part of the day-to-day success of the school, as his commitment and passion for people and his work guides him to go above and beyond the call of duty.
“Mr. Workman’s strong work ethic and positive outlook are evident each day, no matter if he is securing the campus, providing coverage in the morning car rider line, assisting with bus departures in the afternoon, and covering classes when the need arises,” said Osceola School District Superintendent Dr. Debra Pace. “No matter what is asked of him, he always offers to lend a hand. He is reliable, efficient, and extremely responsive in every situation.”
One of his many strengths is his ability to form positive relationships with students. This has helped diffuse conflict situations on campus and control difficult circumstances. Mr. Workman is also an active Florida Army National Guard Veteran. He has helped run hurricane shelters throughout Florida. His military training is evident in his outstanding work ethic both at St. Cloud High and elsewhere throughout the state.
Mr. Workman’s recognition speaks to his determination, his support of students and staff, and his dedication. Superintendent Pace will now proudly forward his nomination on to the Florida Department of Education for consideration for Florida’s 2022 School-Related Employee of the Year Award.

Cody Workman, monitor del campus de St. Cloud High, ha sido nombrado empleado escolar del año 2022 del Distrito Escolar de Osceola en reconocimiento a su desempeño sobresaliente al garantizar la seguridad de más de 1,000 estudiantes cada día, así como la diferencia positiva que sigue haciendo en todo el campus. Él es una parte integral del éxito diario de la escuela, ya que su compromiso y pasión por las personas y su trabajo lo guían a ir más allá del deber.
“La sólida ética de trabajo del Sr. Workman y su perspectiva positiva son evidentes cada día, no importa si está asegurando el campus, proporcionando cobertura en la fila de pasajeros en automóvil por la mañana, ayudando con las salidas del autobús por la tarde, y cubriendo las clases cuando surge la necesidad”, expresó la superintendente del Distrito Escolar de Osceola Dra. Debra Pace. “No importa lo que se le pida, siempre se ofrece a brindar ayuda. Es fiable, eficiente y extremadamente receptivo en cualquier situación”.
Una de sus muchas fortalezas es su capacidad para establecer relaciones positivas con los alumnos. Esto ha ayudado a disipar situaciones de conflicto en el campus y a controlar circunstancias difíciles. El Sr. Workman es también un veterano activo de la Guardia Nacional del Ejército de Florida. Ha ayudado a dirigir refugios contra huracanes en toda Florida. Su entrenamiento militar es evidente en su destacada ética de trabajo tanto en St. Cloud High como en otros lugares del estado.
El reconocimiento del Sr. Workman habla de su determinación, su apoyo a los estudiantes y al personal y su dedicación. La superintendente Pace ahora enviará con orgullo su nominación al Departamento de Educación de la Florida para que sea considerado para el Premio al Empleado Escolar del Año de Florida de 2022.
