The United States Air Force Concert Band and Singing Sergeants, the official chorus of the United States Air Force, will make a stop at Disney Springs on Thursday and Friday evenings at 7 p.m. at the Marketplace Stage, where special events and live performances take place each day and evening. It’s part of its 2019 Fall Tour.

Stationed at Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling in Washington, D.C., the group is one of six musical ensembles that comprise The U.S. Air Force Band. The 23 active duty Airmen musicians, present more than 200 performances annually, delivering a wide range of musical styles, from traditional Americana, opera, and choral standards to modern Broadway and jazz. It’s commander and conductor is Col. Don Schofield.

The Singing Sergeants regularly perform with their instrumental combo and in smaller configurations, such as duets, Barbershop quartets and specialized musical ensembles, at military and civilian ceremonial and diplomatic functions, education outreach events and local concerts throughout metropolitan Washington, D.C. — and now they’re coming to Disney Springs.

The Singing Sergeants’ missions are to honor those who have served, inspire Americans to heightened patriotism and service, and connected with a global community on behalf of the U.S. Air Force and the rest of the United States Armed Forces.

Tickets are not required to attend the performances at Disney Springs, but be sure to get there early!
