On Saturday, March 8th, District One Osceola County Commissioner Peggy Choudhry, assisted by her Student Committee leaders, hosted the Seniors Fun Day & Ice Cream Social at Sherwood Forest (Clubhouse) in Kissimmee. The event provided a free, fun-filled afternoon designed to bring the community together and offer engaging activities for seniors in the community.
Attendees enjoyed live entertainment, Zumba sessions, bingo, a delicious lunch, free ice cream, and health education. There were also free raffles, adding extra excitement to the day.
Commissioner Peggy Choudhry shared her excitement about the event, saying, “This event was all about celebrating our seniors and providing them with an afternoon of fun, fitness, and valuable information. I was thrilled to see so many people join us for a wonderful day in the community!”
