Here are the locations to be tested for FREE for the novel coronavirus this week in Osceola County, with a new Poinciana location run by the Florida Department of Health in Osceola County. Keep in mind there are are no symptom criteria to get tested.
Testing remains available Monday through Friday at Prescriptions Unlimited, 2521 13th Street, Suite A in St. Cloud, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. daily for those 18 years and older. Appointments are not required. Testing will be offered on a first come, first served basis with a limited number of tests available.
The county’s mobile testing site will be at the Mary Jane Arrington Gym and Aquatic Center (625 Country Club Drive) Poinciana, Wednesday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Testing will occur inside the facility and measures are in place to comply with social distancing guidelines. The partnership with Walmart, Quest Diagnostics and Osceola County is still open for drive-through testing is available at the Walmart Supercenter at 3250 Vineland Road in Kissimmee. The site is open Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., and is for adults who meet CDC and state and local guidelines on who should be tested, including first responders, health care providers and others with symptoms of COVID-19 and those in high risk groups without symptoms. Over 18,700 tests have been performed in Osceola County since March. 95.5 percent of them have been negative.
