On Saturday, the Joshua Stevens Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented its highest award, the Medal of Honor award, to Christine Falkowski, veteran of U.S. Army and Army Reserves as Master Sergeant, member of the American Legion, former editor of St. Cloud in the News, former President and Secretary of the Osceola Veterans Council, marketing director with The Transition House, and overall outstanding St. Cloud community contributor.
Founded in 1946 in St. Cloud, the Joshua Stevens Chapter of the Daughter of the American Revolution supports historic preservation programs, educational activities, and participates in numerous patriotic endeavors.
Mrs. Falkowski was the keynote speaker for the event, which was the DAR’s 130th anniversary.
Congratulations to Chris Falkowski for being awarded the DAR’s highest award. It was well deserved and Positively Osceola thanks you for making a Positive Difference in and around Osceola County.
