Siva ko! In Pandora – The World of Avatar at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, that rally cry means “rise to the challenge.” Every day in Central Florida, nonprofit organizations do just that by improving the lives of countless families and their children in the community. Community Vision – centered in Osceola County, is just such an organization.

Community Vision
is among 100 non-profit organizations that were granted by Disney across five Central Florida counties. Community Vision recently received $20,000 from Walt Disney World Resort through Disney Grants.

Along with 99 other nonprofits and organizations throughout Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake and Polk counties, Community Vision was granted by Disney at a ceremony held recently and received a special “Mousecar” award. In all, Walt Disney World Resort awarded nearly $4 million in Disney Grants in support of efforts to positively impact the lives of over 300,000 local children and their families.

The Disney Grants directly support Central Floridians and help to strengthen our neighborhoods, inspire our children, create stronger family bonds and promote a more compassionate environment.

Since 1995 Community Vision has been a dedicated community coordinator resolving issues confronting Osceola County by bringing public, private and faith sectors together. Community Vision serves as a Community Business Development Organization; identifying specific needs within our community and establishing partnerships to work with available resources to create innovative solutions.
