Authorities are looking for a driver who fatally struck a pedestrian in Kissimmee on Friday, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Osceola County Fire Rescue responded to a call of a hit-and-run involving a vehicle and a pedestrian around 4 p.m. on Friday near Neptune Road and Lind Avenue, about 2 miles east of John Young Parkway.
According to Florida Highway Patrol, a car was traveling westbound when it fatally struck the man who was on the sidewalk.
Investigators said the suspect then abandoned the car and fled the scene by foot.
Positively Osceola will update the fatal hit-and-run when more information becomes available.
