According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a fatal accident involving a Ford SUV and a semi-truck took place in Kissimmee, early Tuesday morning. The crash happened at 5:14 AM on Orange Blossom Trail and Evergreen Street.
Florida Highway Patrol reports that both vehicles involved in the accident were traveling westbound on Orange Blossom Trail when the accident happened. The SUV was traveling behind the semi and failed to slow down as the semi lowered its speed resulting in the SUV striking the rear of the semi-truck. The driver of the SUV, a 50-year-old St. Cloud man was pronounced deceased on the scene.
