The nearby location of Osceola Regional Medical Center’s high-risk obstetrics unit and the available incentives within the Kissimmee Medical Arts District made the location of Maternal Fetal Medicine of Central Florida, P.A. in Kissimmee an easy decision for owner Dr. Mark Palazzolo, who said “We’re excited about this new physician and advancing medical care in Osceola.” during the June 6th City Commission meeting.

Anticipating the hiring of 10 new employees and just under $1 million of investments related to property renovations, new equipment, and salaries within its first year, Maternal Fetal Medicine of Central Florida, P.A. will soon open its office within the Kissimmee Medical Arts District at 405 N. Main Street. The office, which will be the only one of its kind in Osceola County, will provide intensive maternal fetal care to high-risk pregnancy patients and offer a company average wage of $60,000, which is 150% above Osceola County’s average wage.

As owner of Women’s Health Center’s OB/GYN offices, which has 4 office locations and a team of 12 physicians, Dr. Palazzolo’s practice delivers the highest number of babies in Osceola County. “The volume of patients is a testament to the excellence of care provided by of Dr. Palazzolo’s team.  His interest in further growing the quality of care available to patients in Osceola County is greatly appreciated,” said Mayor Jose Alvarez.

The Kissimmee City Commission unanimously approved economic development incentive contracts worth more than $110,000 at its June 6, 2017, council meeting.  All incentives issued by the City to QTI companies are evaluated in a performance based system requiring companies fulfill their obligations outlined within their contracts before any incentives as part of the Kissimmee Medical Arts District are awarded.
