The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise (FTE), will hold an Alternatives Public Information Meeting for the Project Development and Environment Study to Widen Western Beltway (SR 429)from North of Interstate 4 to Seidel Road (Milepost 1 – 11) in Osceola and Orange Counties, project.
The Department will provide several options to participate in this public meeting. The community may participate in-person from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at the AdventHealth Nicholson Center located at 404 Celebration Place, Celebration, Florida 34747. Interested members of the community may also participate virtually/online at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, via a computer, tablet, smartphone, or by telephone in listen-only mode.
This meeting will give interested persons an opportunity to review the project alternatives being considered, ask questions, and provide comments concerning the conceptual design, and potential social, economic, and environmental effects of the proposed improvements. Displays that illustrate the proposed improvements will be available at the meeting, along with informational videos. All meeting materials will be available for review the day of the virtual meeting on the project website. This letter is being sent to all property owners and tenants within at least 300 feet of either side of the proposed project and to public officials, regulatory agencies, organizations, and individuals interested in the project.
