First Baptist Church of Kissimmee and One More Child, in partnership with the Osceola Christian Ministry Center and the Osceola Pregnancy Center will host a free drive-thru food distribution event for those in the community adversely affected by the COVID- 19 pandemic.

The food distribution event will be hosted at 1700 N John Young Parkway in Kissimmee, corner of John Young and Columbia, from 10:00am until 1:00pm (or while supplies last) on Saturday, October 31.

One More Child, formerly the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, will be providing 1,000 meal boxes that have the capacity to feed a family of 4 for up to a week. Boxes will be distributed to vehicles on a first-come basis. The parking lot opens for the community to begin forming lines at 9:00am. Please use the main entrance on John Young Parkway.

Community residents who do not have transportation may benefit from a walk-up option as well. A pedestrian line will also form at 9:00am along Columbia Ave. and families will be able to receive food boxes also on a first-come basis. The food boxes weigh approximately 40lbs, so please prepare accordingly.|

One More Child is honored to be helping children in tangible ways. Whether it’s providing clean diapers to a newborn baby, food for a hungry child, safety for an abused child, or foster or adoptive homes to children in crisis, One More Child works to share with children who have been abused, neglected and abandoned, the protective and healing love of Jesus.
