The national average for a gallon of regular gasoline has increased by a penny to $3.34. Continued growth in the price of crude oil has helped to keep pump prices elevated. If crude prices continue to climb, pump prices will likely follow suit.

Florida’s average price per gallon of regular unleaded is $3.34, 2 cents below the national average. Osceola County’s average price matches Florida’s average at $3.34.

“Oil prices have surged in 2022, but pump prices have been pretty flat so far,” said Mark Jenkins, AAA spokesperson. “It’s possible that the seasonable downturn in gasoline demand has helped pump prices resist the upward pressure from the oil market. However, if oil prices keep logging weekly gains, it’s only a matter of time before that results in higher prices at the pump.”
