The price of a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Florida has increased by an average of $0.12 per gallon in the last two weeks. Drivers are feeling pain at the pump with prices their highest in 8 years.

The AAA says the average price for a gallon of gas in Florida sits at $3.46 with the average price in Osceola at $3.48, 7 cents higher than the national average, which is at $3.41 per gallon. Concerns about the global oil supply with a potential Ukraine invasion by Russia, and lower crude oil supplies have driven prices higher, with little expectation that prices will drop any time soon.

If crude prices continue to climb, pump prices will likely follow suit.
