Who’s up for trying to throw a “Cinco de Memorial St. Patrick’s Easter Day” (and maybe throw in the 4th of July) event?

St. Cloud Main Street, that’s who.

On Saturday, June 20, downtown merchants will hold “2020 Rewind – We Missed You St. Cloud”, a special event much like a “grand re-opening” of historic downtown St. Cloud. It will start with a 10 a.m. ribbon cutting in front of City Hall with the St. Cloud Chamber of Commerce.

Many area businesses were closed for up to two months due to the coronavirus pandemic and have now just begun reopening. Businesses will promote some of the holidays that have been missed during the closure, like St. Patrick’s Day, Cinco de Mayo and Easter. Merchants not along the downtown streets will have tents along New York Avenue to be part of the celebration.

The event will benefit local merchants of downtown St. Cloud and the St. Cloud Food Pantry, so attendees are asked to bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to share with others in need. Keep an eye out for more details, including videos from Main Street merchants and from Positively Osceola as we are a partner in the event.
