Golf superstar Tiger Woods has been hospitalized after a single-vehicle rollover crash in California, according to a post on Twitter from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, Eldrick “Tiger” Woods was the driver and sole occupant of a single-vehicle rollover crash on the border of Rolling Hills Estates and Rancho Palos Verdes.The department said it responded to the crash at approximately 7:12 a.m. Tuesday.
“The vehicle sustained major damage,” the Sheriff’s Department said. “Mr. Woods was extricated from the wreck with the ‘jaws of life’ by Los Angeles County firefighters and paramedics, then transported to a local hospital by ambulance for his injuries.”
The sheriff’s department said the traffic investigation is ongoing and being conducted by investigators fromLASD Lomita Station.
