The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received two cyber tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Osceola Detectives with the Internet Crimes Against Children unit took it from there and began investigating the cyber tips – which led to two arrests.

On June 16, 2020, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber tip from the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). Osceola Detectives with the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children) began an investigation into the cybertip.

Based on evidence seized from the search warrant, an arrest warrant was obtained for Matthew Douglas Brown for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography. Brown did not cooperate with the investigation, but on August 19th Mr. Brown turned himself into the Osceola County Jail with a $10,000.00 bond.

On May 4, 2020, the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office received a cyber tip from the NCMEC (National Center for Missing and Exploited Children). Osceola Detectives with the ICAC Unit (Internet Crimes Against Children) began an investigation into the cyber tip.

Based on evidence seized from a search warrant, 29-year-old Luis Alejandro Ortiz Gonzalez was arrested for 10 counts of Possession of Child Pornography and one count of Promotion of Child Pornography. Gonzalez was arrested and taken to the Osceola County Jail with an $11,000 bond.
