Coffee lovers unite…. this is your day! Well, if you’re a coffee lover then every day is likely “your day,” but today there are some pretty decent deals out there and, depending on your coffee preference, you might be able to save a buck, and enjoy your favorite beverage!
According to the National Coffee Association’s 2023 National Coffee Data Trends Report, nearly 60% of Americans choose coffee each day over other beverages, including tap water – but remember, there is water in coffee!
Here’s how some of the bigger chains are celebrating (local coffee hangs might be offering an even better deal today):
- Circle K is giving away one free cup of coffee of any size through its app until October 2, with the offer valid at more than 7,000 US locations.
- Dunkin’ is offering members of its loyalty program, Dunkin’ Rewards, a free medium hot or iced coffee with any purchase on Friday.
- Krispy Kreme is doing one better: Completely free coffee! Any customer can get a medium hot or iced coffee, no purchase necessary.
- Sheetz is giving customers a free Nitro or cold brew coffee (any size) with any purchase made through its app until October 1.
- Tim Hortons is giving members of its rewards program a free medium hot or iced coffee with a $3 or more purchase.
(If you’ve never had a cup of Tim Hortons Coffee, you may have to travel up north a bit to get one. The chain is based in Northern New York and Canadian. - Wendy’s is selling 99-cent small hot or iced coffee on its app.
Whether you prefer your coffee hot or iced or you brew it at home, or you are into decaf, National Coffee Day is a great way to slow down, smell the coffee, and enjoy friends, family, work associates, or new friends, over a cup of joe!
