The legend of Camp Crystal Lake is back—and bloodier than ever—as Universal Orlando Resort unleashes horror icon Jason Voorhees in the all-new haunted house, “Jason Universe,” debuting at Halloween Horror Nights this fall.
Kicking off on Friday, August 29 in Orlando and Thursday, September 4 in Hollywood, the immersive experience pays chilling tribute to one of horror’s most fearsome figures. For 45 years, the machete-wielding slasher from the Friday the 13th films has terrorized audiences, and now he returns to haunt fans in a relentless new form.
The “Jason Universe” haunted house invites guests into a nightmarish reimagining of Camp Crystal Lake—Jason’s gruesome hunting grounds. Visitors will navigate eerie environments including his rickety cabin, the crumbling main lodge, and the shadow-filled forest, each scene echoing Jason’s most infamous kills. Fans will be thrust into a visceral journey through his bloody legacy, discovering firsthand that the legend is terrifyingly real.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 promises its most intense season yet. At Universal Orlando, the event runs 48 select nights through November 2, featuring 10 haunted houses, scare zones, live shows, and more. Guests can choose from a variety of ticket and upgrade options, including Express Passes, the R.I.P. Tour, and the Behind the Screams: Unmasking the Horror Tour. Vacation packages are also available—complete with hotel accommodations, park admission (including the new Universal Epic Universe), and exclusive perks, with savings up to $200 depending on length of stay.
Merchandise inspired by the Jason Universe experience is already available in both parks, including limited-edition T-shirts, mugs, and collectible puzzle pieces that form part of a larger Halloween Horror Nights mural. Fans can also shop the collection online at Shop.UniversalOrlando.com.
