Congratulations to 2020 Rising Thunder Battle of the Bands champion, The Justin Lee Partin Band!

If you weren’t able to make Rising Thunder part of your Sunday fun, which included some serious country and southern rock bands, delicious barbecue Jimmy Bear’s, some Catfish Place favs, vendors, beverages, pony rides, and much more.

The competition was close, but in the end the judges had to make a decision, and so battle winner Justin Lee Partin Band will be headed to Country Thunder on March 29 to play on the same stage that Eric Church will be wowing thousands from.

Justin Lee Partin and his band, based out of the small town of Branford, Florida near Gainesville, will hit the stage on Sunday the 29th at 1:30 p.m.  Sunday’s lineup includes Meghan Patrick, Jon Langston, Lonestar and Ashley McBryde, and concludes with Eric Church at 9 p.m. Kane Brown and Dierks Bentley are the Friday and Saturday headliners.

Also at Rising Thunder, Embertown, the St. Cloud band that features no performer over 17, won the People’s Choice Award to claim a $2,500 prize, and will be VIP guests of Country Thunder at the music festival later this month.
