This past weekend, March 21-24, 2019, the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo hit the dirt hard bringing thousands to the Silver Spurs Arena to witness Kissimmee gain eight new RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo Champions! The RAM NCFR wasn’t the only event breaking records this year, Country Thunder broke records as well, bringing in the largest attendance number to Osceola County for a music festival! What an amazing record-breaking, adrenaline packed, rodeo and country music-lovin’ kind of weekend!
Congratulations to the City of Kissimmee for being selected as the RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo 2019 Partner of the Year! The City of Kissimmee is well deserved of this award and for all they do for Osceola County and the RAM NCFR!
To the 2019 PRCA/RAM NCFR winners, Tilden Hooper, Tyler Pearson, Clay Smith and Jake Long, Chase Brooks, Haven Meged, Lisa Lockhart, Garrett Smith, and Miguel Angel Valenzuela we would like to say CONGRATULATIONS!
Tilden Hooper won the bareback competition with a new Kissimmee record of 92 points. Tyler Pearson’s 3.9 seconds performance allowed him to take the title for the steer wrestling. The 2019 RAM NCFR team roping champions are Clay Smith and Jake Long, clocking 4.8 seconds. Chase Brooks rode a horse called Sue City Sue winning the saddle bronc competition with a score of 89.5 points. Haven Meged won the tie-down competition with a score of 7.4 seconds. Lisa Lockhart took home the RAM NCFR champion title for barrel racing. Garret Smith is the new 2019 RAM NCFR Bull Riding Champion scoring 85.00 on the bull Holly Holy. And last but not least, Miguel Angel Valenzuela took home the title of RAM National Circuit Finals Rodeo All-Around Champion.
