A three-vehicle crash early Tuesday on Pleasant Hill Road in Kissimmee left one person dead and several others injured, according to FHP.
The fatal crash took around 5:20 a.m. in the northbound lanes near John Young Parkway when a 2015 BMW X1 driven by a 21-year-old Orlando man was heading south on Pleasant Hill Road crossed into the northbound lanes, striking the front of a 2006 Chevrolet Aveo, driven by a 56-year-old Kissimmee man, head-on.
The head-0n crash caused the BMW to strike a 2019 Toyota Camry in the northbound lanes then overturn.
The drivers of the BMW and Chevrolet were both taken to a local hospital. The Kissimmee man was pronounced dead, the FHP said.
The driver of the Toyota, 30-year-old Orlando man, and his passenger, a 21-year-old Orlando woman, both had minor injuries.
The crash is still under investigation.
