The City of Kissimmee is expanding its Freebee rideshare service, providing residents with an even more efficient, and cost-free way to travel within Downtown Kissimmee.
Designed to serve as a last-mile solution for commuters arriving at the SunRail/Intermodal Station, the service will now cover both inner and outer zones around the station, making it easier for riders to reach their destinations conveniently.
Visitors and residents will now be able to travel to locations like the US Post Office for essential services, Oak Street Ballpark for sports and activities, and numerous local businesses, adding to the previous destinations of Valencia College, HCA Florida Osceola Hospital, the Kissimmee Medical Arts District, City Hall, Osceola County Courthouse, Kissimmee Lakefront Park, and many others.
Freebee service facilitates transportation from SunRail to various destinations within the service area with three Teslas and one ADA-accessible van tailored for disabled riders. The free rideshare service provides convenient, clean, and timely access to many points of interest and services and is open to all the visitors and residents of Kissimmee.
“Expanding the Freebee transportation service underlines our commitment to providing accessible, eco-friendly, and efficient transportation options for our residents,” stated Mike Steigerwald, City Manager of Kissimmee. “We aim to ensure that all residents have easy access and alternate forms of transit to important destinations within our community.”

La Ciudad de Kissimmee anuncia la expansión del área de su servicio de transporte Freebee, que ofrece a los residentes un modo eficiente y gratuito de viajar dentro del centro de Kissimmee.
El servicio está diseñado como una solución de último kilómetro para los viajeros que llegan a la estación SunRail/Intermodal. Para facilitar una cobertura eficaz, los límites se han establecido para abarcar tanto las zonas interiores como exteriores que rodean la estación.
El servicio de transporte compartido extiende ahora su alcance a lugares como la Oficina de Correos de EE.UU. para servicios esenciales, Oak Street Ballpark para deportes y actividades, y numerosos comercios locales.
