Liberty High School was placed on lockdown by the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office Thursday morning after a student made a threat to cause bodily harm to another student. Another student at Liberty implied that a handgun was involved, but after further investigation, no weapon was found.
The school safety protocol was enacted, and the lockdown has been lifted. All students involved in the incident have been identified.
The school is now fully open again.
