Osceola deputies arrested a man accused of breaking into homes,  then stealing the keys to a Dodge Durango before driving away with it, according to the sheriff’s office.

Nineteen-year-old Sergio Raygoza was arrested for grand theft auto, two counts of burglary to an occupied residence, dealing stolen property and grand theft from a dwelling, according to the Osceola Sheriff’s Office.

Raygoza told Osceola investigators he was with friends when they began breaking into the homes of the victims, according to the sheriff’s office.

He told deputies he went inside the homes knowing the victims were sleeping, and in one home found the keys to a Dodge Durango and drove away with it.

Deputies said Raygoza is also accused of stealing electronics and credit cards from the homes.

Investigators said they were able to arrest him in Orlando as he was entering the stolen vehicle.
