Osceola County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the Boost Mobile store at 4691 Old Pleasant Hill Road in Poinciana after a man who was seemingly interested in purchasing two iPhone 7s instead decided to suddently “snatch” them and run out the store. The store clerk was answering questions about Boost Mobile when the man turned the conversation about the iPhone 7.

The clerk took out two iPhone 7’s to show the man and held them in her hand as she continued to complete his application. That’s when the man made his move and leaned over the counter into the “Employee Only” area and snatched the phones from the clerk’s hands. The man ran out of the store and jumped in his car which was parked begin the Boost Mobile store.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the man. The suspect is described as an adult black male, with long dread locks, approximately 6 feet tall and 150 lbs., with a short beard and mustache. The vehicle appears to be a fairly new gray Nissan.
