With some families still experiencing food insecurity in Osceola County, District 5 Commissioner Ricky Booth and the Mercy Foundation are inviting the community to a free Farm Share food distribution at the Holopaw Community Center on Saturday, November 5, from 9 am to 12 pm.

“Unfortunately, many families are still experiencing food insecurity with the effect of the pandemic, and, of course, the recent impact of hurricane Ian. It’s put a lot of pressure on our community, so I’m glad to see organizations like Osceola County, the Mercy Foundation, and Farm Share, working together to help people recover and move forward,” District 5 Osceola County Commissioner Ricky Booth shared.

It’s suggested that people arrive early, as the food distribution is First come, first served!
