Monday morning at 8 am marks the beginning of early in-person voting in Osceola County and most of Florida and will take place in eight locations in the county.
Residents who are registered to vote in Osceola County may request a mail ballot to be mailed to them by Oct. 24. Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington is expecting 90,000 mail-in ballots to be requested in Osceola County. That is a record for the county, likely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We think we’re going to have up to 90,000 people requesting mail ballots, and that’s a record number for us. At 9 am on October 21st if you want to join us, as we process mail ballots we encourage you to come so you can see the process we go through,” said Supervisor of Elections Mary Jane Arrington.
