The upswing in Florida coronavius cases continues, and Osceola County is part of it.

The Florida Department of Health reported another 3,822 COVID-19 cases overnight, including 34 here in Osceola County and a 23rd reported death from the virus, a 82-year-old female who passed away back in April and was just added to the database.

Thursday night Orange County joined Osceola in mandating face masks or coverings when in any public area beginning just after midnight tonight.

Osceola County  will hold a press briefing Friday (June 19) at 3 p.m. at Osceola Heritage Park Events Center to provide an update on the County’s response to coronavirus.
