Toymaker giant Hasbro has announced that it will drop the “Mr.” from the brand’s name in order to emphasize more diversity and so all could feel “welcome in the Potato Head world.”

According to Hasbro, it will sell a new playset this fall without the Mr. and Mrs. Titles that will encourage kids to create their own type of potato families.

Hasbro tweeted later in the day, however, that while the brand is changing, the actual Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head characters will still live on and be sold, which caused a bit of “brand confusion.” The new package says Potato Head and Mr. Potato head at the bottom of the box.

“While it was announced that the POTATO HEAD brand name & logo are dropping the ‘MR.’ I yam proud to confirm that MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD aren’t going anywhere and will remain MR. & MRS. POTATO HEAD,” the company tweeted.

Hasbro looks to be expanding its brand, while not completely deleting its most iconic characters, which appeared in the “Toy Story” films.

Hasbro’s stock was not affected by the move on Thursday.
