While there still aren’t any drive-through COVID-19 testing sites set up yet in Osceola County, there are more local options now that are a short drive away.

AdventHealth, which opened a site at the Daytona International Speedway last week, will open another drive-up site in Orange County at the Mall at Millenia on Wednesday. The registration website for the location shows it will be open through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.; check back if it will be extended as April 19 is the last date currently shown.

You’ll need to register for an appointment time at that website. At that time you’ll be screened, and potentially tested. You will need to exhibit the risk factors for COVID-19, like fever, cough, or flu-like signs, or either recent international travel or contact with someone recently diagnosed with COVID-19. If you have an order from a doctor to be tested, you should bring that as well, but it is not required.

There is no cost to get tested, and no expected limit on testing supplies according to AdventHealth, who also said they anticipate test results will be available within 48 hours. Those who test positive will receive a call from a nurse to review the results and provide care instructions, and will be expected to self-isolate at home.
