Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies is proud to welcome its first baby of the New Year. Baby boy Milo Philip came into the world at 1:20 AM, weighing 7 lbs. 10 oz. and measuring 20″ long.

In honor of this special occasion, the Central Florida Diaper Bank donated diapers for a year (roughly 3,600) to the family of the hospital’s first baby. The organization advocates for and encourages healthy growth, nutrition and development for children from newborn to age three, promoting self-sufficiency for at-risk families by identifying their needs and providing the appropriate resources.

“It’s a joy to partner with Orlando Health for the third year in a row to give this gift to a family in our community and help them in this new, precious chapter of life,” said Sharon Lyles, executive director of the Central Florida Diaper Bank.
